47. That kind of negates it's purpose.
Most of the country is rural. In the city, it would work. But in the city, I see no reason for it. In the country, you'd have to stop at some central location? And it could be 100 miles from home. Plus the energy required to keep this thing afload is enormous. Like I said above, that's why it has been sitting idle for 20 years, even though it really works. Ultimately it a very cool idea.
