Actually...I don't think he'd ever make such a dramatic, Novakula-style exit, but I sense he's tiring of the strained interplay between him and Wolf. Jack's sardonic comments generally are awkwardly waived off by Wolf, who is woefully ill-equipped to deal with any kind of back-and-forth beyond "back to you Wolf" followed by "Thanks very much." (when you read that last part aloud....read it with as much drone as you can muster).
