there is no such thing as an independent republican office holder at the federal level.

The Bush machine has intimidated and bribed every one of them into a fearful loyalty

I'm sure they have some real dirt on John McCain that keeps him in line. Same with the rest.

I think it will take a special prosecutor to deliver the news this time.
