to invest in people. Despite all the empty rhetoric, all they know is exploitation, and they have a proven track record on that now.

Actually I would say they have also failed on:

establishing justice
insuring domestic tranquility
providing for the common defense
promoting the general welfare
securing the blessings of liberty

Basically they have failed to uphold the constitution in any sense.
