18. After the article I read in yesterday's paper about Native Americans and
sports team names, I hope this ROYALLY pisses them off! The bastard Editor (he wrote the article, but it wasn't on the editorial page) calls we Liberals, "Constant Do Gooders" (CDGs). He made a snide remark about how the Liberals are constantly whining about sports teams and Native American team names and he just doesn't know how the Liberals pulled themselves out of the PROTEST LINES long enough to do something about it. :grr: Man, he pissed me off. Just goes to show you, first impressions aren't always right. I met him at the Cindy Sheehan vigil and he seemed like a very nice man. He also wrote a beautiful article about the vigil. BUT that sports teams/Native American article REALLY pissed me off. He thinks LIBERALS are the ONLY people 'whining' about the "Fighting Illini" or any other derogatory Native American team name and Native Americans couldn't care less because they've been 'bought off by the big casinos' and aren't interested. :grr:

They probably won't print the results if it doesn't suit their agenda.
