Thought I died and went to heaven.....

Last night I fell asleep while listening to this 30 hr fiasco, and in my dream Chafee, Smith and Snow decided that they had been embarrassed enough and announced that they had switched parties. When Zell found out he immediately switched to the pubs and when Jeffords discovered that Zell had jumped, he decided to join the Dems.

So....... Leahy became the judiciary leader again and called for an up or down vote for the Bushie nominees....they were all defeated !!
The next piece of legislation to be voted on was the repeal of the Patriot Act..then I woke up....Damn!!!

Dreams are so much nicer than reality.
