It was from a Shakespeare play, I believe it in response to Desdemona.
(from memory here). The reply, "The lady doth protest too much," means that the person speaking is guilty of what she is protesting against; that someone loudly objecting does it from guilt.
Will has been writing insults and hate filled posts today, calling people "godamed stupid." Filling threads with people writing insults.
Yes I do know what I am talking about: You wrote a condescending reply because you think it can't be possible someone other than yourself is intelligent or informed. And notice I did not say I am correct on Shakespeare, that it is from my memory. Let's discuss it it that is what you intended.
