What TV shows did you originally like, but upon reviewing seem lame now?

"Star Trek The Next Generation" sadly gets my vote.

Season 3 used to be so cool, but re-watching it, I've never recalled Captain Picard being so melodramatic or as maudlin. Yuck.

The show still has its good points, but it's overrated...

Then add how Paramount wants $120 per season MSRP and wince. (the 5.1 sound isn't spectacular and it often shunts the sound and many scene changes incur a strange 'hiccup' effect.)
