It is neutral yet won't be mistaken for spam. Plus, the added bonus is you are being happy, cheerful, and polite.
It would be a good idea to include some reference to something discussed in the interview in the body of the email as well.
"I've been thinking about our discussion of _______ and I think_____" or something like that would not be a bad idea--it shows you were not sleepwalking thru the interview and took it seriously enough to think about it later...
