That article is bull. More Nippon-worship, perpetuating that self-imposed self-loathing for American cars. I had a 1978 Datsun that was a rattletrap rustbucket with inferior tires, terrible handling and brakes that always needed replaced. It was hardly head and shoulders above my buddy's Vega.
