one of the most fun things I've done in years is the big dog party there.

On Saturdays, I believe, the leash law isn't invoked until 9am, so the whole planet brings their dogs there and it's a hilarious, huge canine cocktail party. There are dogs that prefer to play with humans, dogs who seek out their dog pals to play with, etc. It's a riot to watch if you're an animal lover.
