10. And yet
many Democrat Bears fans will refuse to root for the Packers.

As for baseball:

2000 - Yankees (Bush) over New York
1996 - New York (Clinton) over Atlanta
1992 - Toronto (Clinton) over Atlanta
1988 - Los Angeles (Bush) over Oakland
1984 - Detroit (Reagan) over San Diego
1980 - Philadelphia (Reagan) over Kansas City
1976 - Cincinnati (Carter) over New York
1972 - Oakland (Nixon) over Cincinnati
1968 - Detroit (Nixon) over St. Louis
1964 - St. Louis (Johnson) over New York
1960 - Pittsburgh (Kennedy) over New York
1956 - New York (Eisenhower) over Brooklyn
1952 - New York (Eisenhower) over Brooklyn
1948 - Cleveland (Truman) over Boston Braves
1944 - St. Louis Cardinals (FDR) over St. Louis Browns
1940 - Cincinnati (FDR) over Detroit
1936 - Yankees (FDR) over Giants
1932 - Yankees (FDR) over Cubs
1928 - Yankees (Hoover) over Cardinals
1924 - Washington (Coolidge) over Giants
1920 - Cleveland (Harding) over Brooklyn
1916 - Red Sox (Wilson) over Brooklyn
1912 - Red Sox (Wilson) over Giants
1908 - Cubs (Taft) over Detroit

The best correlation appears to be the Braves losing the Series, but they're already out...on the other hand, St. Louis gave us FDR and LBJ. So go Cardinals.
