3. Here's a friend's funny Quayle story
When Bush and Quayle were running for re-election, Quayle came to Norman, Oklahoma, where my friend was. She and her friends attended teh rally which was in a gym with both sides of the bleachers filled. Her position was behind Quayle and to his right in the upper part. Whenever Quayle came to an applause point, and the people erupted with cheers and claps, she and her friends would yell insults, which nobody could hear because of the din.

My friend, though, got too much into it and mistimed a shout. Quayle said something about how, "The other side doesn't like our values," and paused. My friend, expecting applause, yelled out in an otherwise quiet gym, "That's because your values suck!" All attention is now on her. Quayle turned and looked in her direction with that blank, nobody's home look, and four secret service men surrounded her position, standing in the aisles and followed her out to her car afterwards.

She was busting a gut trying not to laugh.
