19. My first job was as a waitress at an IHOP
I will never eat at one again. It was a cool building, one of the old ones in the A-frame building with the blue roof, like Stuckeys or that big huge catholic church in Center Line, MI (I call it St. Stuckey's or Our Lady of International Pancakes, but it's really St. Clements).

Interesting trivia I learned in my 8 months working there: the original owner of the chain (now it's franchised) was a navy guy. He designed the A-Frames after a ship, and the various parts of the restaurant were named for places on ships. The kitchen was the galley, the little back seating part was called "torp" for torpedo, etc.
