199. I am sorry. I'm also angry as hell.
My heart to you and your daughter. This is just horrobile, and I'm so sorry you are living it.

I think you did the right thing to call the police--and it sounds like the neighbor is headed into a lot of trouble. Should you decide, however, that the neighbor is not suffering enough retribution, there are things that you can do to extract that last bit of satisfaction.

Now, I am not advocating this, mind you, but I do know a story about a guy who lost a cat when a neighbor put out anti-freeze for it to drink--then bragged about doing it.

He felt that the cat's death was a horrible and painful one. He also felt tht the rest of his upscale neighborhood needed to know what kind of guy this neighbor was...

He got a BIG jug of grass/weed killer (Roundup is what they market it as) and he wrote Pet Killer in 3 foot high letters in the grass in the guy's front yard.

What is an interesting fact about Roundup is that it will not only kill grass, but will prevent it from re-growing even if it is reseeded--for something like three or four years.

The guy paid a landscaper to come and sod his yard in order to get rid of the brown dead grass spelling pet killer in his front yard.

May your paths brighten, and if my story made you at least chuckle it was worth the telling of it.
