3. One of my former students held up a pharmacy for Viagra.
I used to teach in Racine, WI, and when I read this story a few years ago, I immediately knew it was one of my former students.

He was only 20 or so, and I assumed he held up the pharmacy in order to sell the drugs on the secondary market.

Nope. According to the news reports, he walked in there and tried to buy some, because he'd sustained an injury that made performance difficult. The pharmacist explained that it was prescription-only, and gave him a list of local doctors specializing in his particular problem. He left.

Instead of coming back with a script, he came back with a gun.

Six years jail, six years probation after that. He's probably still locked up.
