This summer I ordered some chicken wings which obviously weren't put into the fryer long enough because they were hot on the outside while pink and icy on the inside. The waitress was very nice and offered to have a new order brought out for me. She even gave it to me for free yet a friend I was eating with wanted me to stiff her on the tip.

Yeah I've had waiters and waitresses act way out of line before but too often they're blamed for things they have no control over.
