go "down below" to the doctor in Petosky for prenatal appointments. 95 miles one way and I had three kids there in five years, so I crossed the Mackinac Bridge many times. One time a car of girl scouts and their leader were in front of me going home (up)at the toll booth and paid my fare and waved at me out the back window. So I paid the fare of the car behind me. I could see the guy behind me paying the fare of the guy behind him in my rearview mirror and wondered how far back it went. Over the years, I would periodically do it just for fun. Usually when there was a harried mom and dad and a load of kids going home from vacation. Goodbye from the U.P., hope you had a good time. It was fun. Random acts of kindness. Pass it on!
