9. Mostly for pets. I refuse to eat any of the animals I raise.
But some people do eat them and claim that the meat is delicious.

I have about 30 quails right now. I KNOW they're delicious, but I can't bring myself to kill them, so they will all be pets until they die. I have friends who are begging me to give them some of them, but I just can't do it. And they are laying eggs, too, which I incubate.

I have quails, ducks, guineas, and chickens. They are all pets. We eat the chicken eggs, but that's all. And two of my hens have gone broody right now, so I'm going to have about 30 chicks pretty soon...some Kelsos (game chickens) and some BB Reds (also game chickens, but banty, or small breed).

Feel free to ask questions. I love to talk about my fowl. :D
