and sprinkle the product in. you roll the roller things to tighten it and when you've got it, you roll it so the ungummed end is rolling on the inside and the gummed bit is sticking up. you lick the gum and roll it down.

I prefer hand rolling thin gumless paper. It is less harsh.

On Edit: I could tell you how to make a pipe out of an apple, pear, or toilet paper roll too (you need foil for these), if the rolling thing does not work.
