22. you know what's really sad? They tore down that bowling alley.
I filmed a scene there some years back at least. Very cramped place, but great crazy neon signs outside.

Earlier this year, I went on a filmin' trip with some friends in LA - we searched around forever for it, and I was wondering if my memory deteriorated and I had forgotten what it was. Somewhere around 4am, I'm told by a grizzled Korean donut vendor that it was destroyed some months back.

I went "ah" and slithered back to some bed. While locking the car doors, I hear a Dylan song coming from an open window. "Gee, isn't that from Big Lebowski?"

Ah! The movie is on! Widescreen, surround sound, early morning hours in a cloudy room. Great timing, and a great movie.
