I swear to fucking God, this ASSHOLE from Pittsburg called me a terrorist. He said I was haivng problems with my computer (and there aren't problems, there are only some things I haven't learned how to do yet) because I was going to ILLEGAL WEBSITES!!! Here is what happened:

I bought an airport express and was having problems connecting it. The first apple guy put me through to a specialist who quickly rectified the problem. Later on I called about iTunes (can I transport my library from my desktop to my laptop and what does this thingy do...whatever) All of my problems got solved until I tried to play one of my favorite bookmarks that I linked to here a little while ago. Here is that link:

The movie plays, but the sound does not. No 'mute' is not on. Yes, iTunes plays just fine, and through the internet. So I check a couple of other things...a link to Pink's song "Dear Mr. President" that was posted here earlier. Same thing. The player plays, but no sound. I try a couple of others. Ones that I have used again and again since I bought Big Bertha last week. Again, the same thing.

I call the tech people and it starts out nice enough. Until this guy starts blaming plug-ins. He continually told me that 99% of the time, it is because I don't have the right plug ins. I asked why it played a short time ago. He told me it WASN'T PLAYING BEFORE. I told him it was. He asked me for a link. I gave it to him.

I started, "h-t-t-p.." he interrupts "http://dot..." and I continue, "cursor dot org forward slash image" and he screeches "that's an illegal site. What *IS* this site....it says Al-ja Zeera, it's an illegal site. I'm not a terrorist. I don't go to those illegal sites."

I asked him what was illegal about the site. He said, "it said 'al Ja Zeera'". I asked him what was illegal about al Ja Zeera. He had no answer. THEN HE CALLED ME A TERRORIST!!!!!!!

He told me that I have to install firefox and all of its extensions in order to hear anything via the 'net again and insisted it wasn't my computer...It was the plug ins.

I told him he was 'just oh so helpful, but I have to run because my al jazeera meeting was getting ready to start and I didn't want to miss anything."
