I was surprised, when I came to the US for the first time, at just how many flags I saw around. I kind of liked it, actually.

I don't like it any more, now that you can't move for US flags, most of them undoubtedly there more to ensure others that the flagwaver is a good, patriotic 'Murkan than for any real motive.
