gotta love America under the Bush admin, he's such a uniter.

You can listen to "Self-evident" Ani Difranco's poem about 9/11 if you want to, I've listened to it quite a few times over the last few days and it's nice to hear the crowd roaring when she makes some of the more salient points. It's kind of buffered me from this garbage going on on the TV. Hurricane Katrina killed the significance of 9/11 in my mind pretty much. That was an event of a couple hours whereas Bush just sat back and let thousands of people and hundreds of thousands of animals die during Katrina over the course of months when most of it absolutely been prevented. How can we justifiably get righteous about terrorists murdering thousands of our citizens when this admin murdered at least as many if not more by neglect and intentional failure to respond to Katrina while we all watched...
