Younger children I would suggest you wait at least until you're pretty serious about the guy - though you're children have the right to know you are dating - but it could be disruptive to younger kids to see a constant line of guys.

But with a 17 and a 22 year old, they're old enough to know that "dating" doesn't mean "committed forever" or "the new dad", and the three of you could have a fun time doing girl talk about the guys you are dating, because, let's face it, a guy is never really going to be "dad" to them (though they might end up loving each other very much in a kind of dad/daughter way, he'll never have "dad" authority for either of them, since they're adults (or soon to be)).
