I was watching The Running Man last night.

It's in the running for worst action movie of the eighties.

It's got more cheese then a French... um... cheese shop.

If I've ran out of good lines, I blame this movie. It's basically set up after set up to give Swartzeneggar purposefully horrible one liners. He strangles a guy- "what a pain in the neck." He chops a guy in half- "he had to split."

It's not that I can't appreciate this sort of thing for what it's worth, but last night while watching it I couldn't help but think of the missed opportunity. They're always remaking movies, I think they should remake this one. Only they should stick to the original story that Stephen King wrote, not the movie. It was much more of a "V for Vendetta" type atmosphere than the film version of the video game "Smash TV."
