32. The black sheep...

How true that is.

Almost every family sets up someone to be the scapegoat. And often the scapegoat is assumed to have all kinds of negative traits simply because the family is in the habit of automatically ascribing those negative traits. Many of my friends are the black sheep of their families, and I'm the black sheep of mine. We're almost all far more ethically developed and responsible than the families we came from.
