17. Stick to your principles -- no fur.
Your friend is probably not interested, but for people who have fur coats and stoles and even fur collars and don't want to wear them but don't want to donate them for other people to wear -- you can donate them to the Humane Society. They will give them to wild animals who are being rehabilitated and feel comforted by being on/near fur. The program is called "Coats for Cubs."
