20. He's doing OK now, for the most part.
:hi: The crazy ex-girlfriend thing has pretty much blown over (knock on wood) - the ex-gang member she was "interested in" is now apparently engaged to marry the mother of his children, so he's (hopefully) out of the picture. The ex-girlfriend took my brother out to Subway for his birthday - a move that my parents and I weren't exactly thrilled about, but apparently they had a nice long chat and sort of worked things out. Now my bro has made several new friends in the neighborhood, and they've been hanging out pretty much every day. He's also taken up smoking since he turned 18, which isn't so great since my mom's allergic, but he only does it outside the house. So all in all, things are looking quite a bit better. :loveya:
