we have one here too. sorry to hear about the troubles where you are.

I used to volunteer here, but had to stop when my schedule got too weird. I actually do not like to talk into a mic so I didn't like that part of it. I still have friends who work there.

anyway, there's a world music festival here every year so I'm fortunate that I get to hear a lot of different musicians. they have a hispanic segment too. community radio is a great thing - I wish more cities had them.

but world music, etc. at the moment -- that's not how my ears feel inclined.

my local station plays too much bluegrass, etc. for me on Sats.a.m. so I'm off that sort of thing too.

do you ever get this idea that you want to hear some music but you don't know what it is? and then you hear some things and you think... yeah, kinda like that! - I'm having one of those weird moments - and even tho there's tons of music at work - I know it too well.
