31. Mulan is absolutely my favorite Disney film. Brilliant, subtle moments
mixed in with Eddie Murphy wisecracks. :)

The scene where the soldiers are mourning the deaths of the General and the army, and Mulan finds a child's doll and stands it against the fallen general's sword, was beautiful. And the songs were inspired. "Be A Man" playing when the soldiers dressed in drag, for instance, or the whole discomfort of Mulan while the men were singing "A Girl Worth Fighting For."

My three favorites (for now):

The Princess Bride. Still. I can watch that ten times in a row, and Peter Faulk's last "As you wish" will make me cry every time. Probably helps that he reminds me of my dad.

Amadeus. The most perfect movie ever made, until the Director's Cut screwed it up. The plot, the story, the dialogue, the editing, the acting, everything was perfect in that movie. The "voice of God" scene where Salieri is reading/hearing Mozart's first draft is one of my favorites in any movie.

Unforgiven. Clint Eastwood meant it as a step towards de-glorifying violence. Perfect movie about killing, and how a story always looks different from the other side.
