47. It's now no longer an option for today...
...because last night at 10:30 I got an email from this guy saying he wants a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM.

And if I were to do the thing that would most directly contribute to my long-term physical and mental well-being, I'd tell him to take his list of demands and shove it, then walk away.

And if I did that, I'd be stepping out into nothing, basically becoming a homeless man in that moment.

But I look at the list and know that if I agreed to everything on it, I'd die in a matter of months. I either need to stabilize the situation with minimum concessions or I need to walk away and deal with the fallout, which will involve major, major short-term pain.

So I have to be available today for a couple of conversations I may or may not be able to have. I think part of the reason he wants this "meeting" tomorrow is that he knows I haven't had time to compare notes with the other two people who are supposed to be "mediating."
