2. What's frightening about step 2

is that it erases doctor-patient confidentiality for all, no matter what procedures you went to the doctor for.

Many of the extremists assume that any woman going to see the doctor is there for an abortion. Having had to run the gantlet of harassing extremists back when I had health insurance, I know what the "you're just a walking uterus" stare looks like.

Another reason I'm a member of NARAL and have volunteered for them.
