Former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, one of nine Democrats running for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, delivered a sharp critique of President Bush at a well-received speech to a largely student audience at Brown University yesterday.

Moseley Braun blasted the Bush policies on the economy and foreign policy, with special attention to the president's tax cuts and Iraq war decisions. After the address, she patiently and expertly fielded questions from students on a wide range of issues.
