to plan - 2 days to get something going so that folks would forget the 300 dead.

What I like is Ollie North now doing Tours - War Tours - of Granada.

You see that was the turning point in the cold war - and a brillant move by Reagan that the folks in the Pentagon never even thought of doing. It took a leader like Reagan to see the need to invade Grenada and bomb the mental hospital on the island (what was it about Reagan and the mentally ill? - in California as Gov Reagan and the legislature agree to close the huge inhumane warehouse buildings that held the mentally ill and build real medical facilities and half-way houses - and then Reagan did close the evil warehouses - but before he had in place the replacement buildings - he foumd that replacement building a great place to cut funds from the CA budget - with the result that CA mentally ill were put on the street. Then as Pres the first thing he does is demand that his damn August 81 Budget bill include wording killing the Carter Mental Health bill passed a year before - and to remove all funds for the mentally ill - saying that the cut back Fed to state aid should be called a "block grant" that coverred all needs - thus putting the mentally ill on the streets in all the states. He must really have hated the mentally ill. Of course this is the same technique that Bush is trying to use to kill Medicare and Medicaid. Convert the programs to fixed dollars from Washington - a block grant - that will be cut like we cut other "welfare" so as to cut taxes on the rich. I love the compassionate Republicans - and our media that never points out their lack of compassion).
