27. +1. No reason to attack him.
The founding fathers intended the Constitution to be adaptable however they also made it rather difficult for changes to be made to temporary political pressure. As such out of the thousands of proposed amendments only 26 have ever been ratified.

However it CAN be done.

I have 1000% more respect for someone using the legal authorized framework to modify the Constitution than I do for the deniers who want to pretend the 2A doesn't exist and infringe upon it at will.

That being said I will do everything in my power including donating time, money, and resources to ensure it never happens but I see no reason to attack or insult him/her for suggesting it.
