This is unacceptable. You cannot punish an entire population based on the actions of a few militants, that is what terror is!

Seven hundred thousand Palestinians - roughly half the population of the Gaza - were without electricity since Tuesday night after IAF strikes knocked out power stations in the Strip.

The power outages also effected water supplies as many of the newer multi-story buildings in Gaza are dependent on electrical water pumps.

Palestinian engineers said repairs could take six months
