I guess I'm confused, because I thought they did vote for her....to go on to the next step, which is a full Senate vote. Not to vote for her as in "I think you'll be a great SoS."

If this committee hearing was all she needed, she'd be official right now, right? They can still vote against her when the entire Senate votes, right?

on edit: Yes, I think it is bad that they voted to advance her. But this doesn't raise to the level of ire being generated by some here.


Anyway--why didn't Feingold get this level of irritation when he voted for John Ashcroft?
