3. PLEASE IGNORE THIS VERY MISLEADING TITLE FROM ORIGINAL POSTER
There are 18 candidates for US Senate for Paul Sarbanes open seat in Maryland. Anyone with enough signatures can qualify for this race.

The two front runners for this race are clearly Rep. Ben Carden and former NAACP president Kweisi Mfume. Both of them are around 40% of the vote with Carden in the lead.

I find it offensive that the orginal poster didn't even take the time to research that this wasn't even a viable candidate who could hope to see more than 2% of the votes in the Maryland primary.

This race is safe and both Carden and Mfume have polled with leads over leading republican candidate Michael Steel
