77. I don't know what either side hopes to accomplish, but in the end,
I fear neither will accomplish anything positive for the Democratic party; feeding the RW mania machine is a whole 'nother matter.

I live out in the country and am thus subject to a limited range of talk radio - I pick up one entire right wing station. So as one might guess, being the political animal I am, I have the *pleasure* (cough cough -- tongue in cheek) of hearing what Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc are actually saying to their millions of daily listeners... they repeat the mantra day in and day out, over and over and its become rabid...

And I come to DU and I see and read the same exact talking points here. And I wonder to myself, who has what fucking agenda, Mel, cause something is just not right here, this is as if I'm thru the looking glass and in FR, ya know?

And I am so trying to get with a candidate despite my *personal* feelings toward any of them, cause first and formost I am a democrat and ya know what?

I'm not taking much from DU these days, and I am so sad.

Or maybe I just need coffee. :hi:

Thanks for letting me vent - you had no clue I was gonna use your shoulder, did ya? :)
