It could just be Gore hanging out with a friend or...

It could be that they're discussing some global warming legislation, or...

It could be that they're discussing FISA or some other non-global warming related bills in Congress, or...

It could be that Gore's discussing some new project nobody knows about yet but Gore...

It could be that Gore's discussing the state of the Super Delegates, since Gore is one of the most logical choices to negotiate a peace treaty between Clinton and Obama, if such a thing is necessary, or...

It could be that Gore's testing the waters to see if he could be drafted, if the convention totally deadlocks and neither Clinton nor Obama can lock up the nomination and neither is willing to concede.

I think this last is the least likely, but it is within the realm of the possible.
