I read a story about it somewhere and cannot find it now, but as I recall, the credentials committee numbers about 150 consists of delegates from the candidates plus several (I think it is 30-50) chosen by the DNC chair, Dr Dean. Since many of the members were chosen before Obama started to come on and include a lot of former Clinton Admin members, I would think the committee would lean Clinton to some extent, which could be stopped by Dean's contingent who I understand are largely people loyal to Dean.

So MI and FLA could be decided in June, long before the convention. For the purposes of discussion, if we assume they vote to seat them with some kind of compromise, the only recourse that Hillary would have would be to appeal their decision on the floor at the convention.

With at least 2 months to hammer Hillary for fighting the decision of the DNC credentials committee before the convention I think the pressure on her not to appeal would be almost unbearable.
