26. No one who has any smarts is going to blame Obama for the economy's continuing ills...

Only Rush Limbaugh dittoheads in and out of Congress and bitter Hillaryland PUMAs would even go there.
It took Bush eight years to drive the economy to its knees and most Americans understand there is no
quick fix and that it will take at least that long to get the economy on its way to the recovery room. People
get that and certainly AA voters do not expect miracles, not after the hand they've been dealt through the
centuries.

President Obama will make sure Americans know what he is doing and why he is doing it every step of the
way so there is no ambiguity as to who's at fault. He will always lay the blame at Bush's feet as well as the
ill-conceived deregulation of decades past. No fucking way will Obama allow himself to be a scapegoat
and AA voters won't allow it, either. In fact, any attempt to make their president look bad will be met
with a furious and sustained defense at the polls, so Democratic presidential hopefuls should beware of
making permanent demographic enemies. The Clintons have done enough harm to themselves among AA
voters this time around. I doubt they want to completely burn their bridges with the AA community by
challenging the incumbent AA president with ill-founded Mark Penn-style attacks in 2012. That goes
for Democratic candidates of the Clinton stripe across the country as well - hello, Terry McAuliffe - who
won't win without AA turning out for them or having Obama grassroots supporters volunteering for them.

Besides, Barack will do to any future opponents what he did to Hillary and McCain this year-- beat them.
With a smile. :)
