14. It's A Media Creation & Cover
The media needs a story to make this election seem contested...that there's a middle here that is gonna decide the outcome. It won't...it's going to be an overwhelming number of Democrats coming out on Nov. 2 that's gonna be the story, not the few swing voters. But it makes a good story and allows both sides to trade those much coveted broadsides claiming they're reaching to the middle in doing so. It's all a game.

Others use it for cover...to avoid telling people who they're voting for or if they're voting at all. The other day I got into a political discussion with a banker...one who I knew was a Repugnican, and he told me he was undecided. I told him I was undecided if I wanted to do this business deal with him until after the election.

If there's undecideds right now it's about voting or not voting...and those will probably stay home...especially if they're thinking of voting for Bunnypants and the bad news keeps going...which it will.

The delicious irony here is the GOOP has tried real hard to supress our vote...instead it's energized it. Now they're fighting for their lives to keep their base from not showing up. :bounce:
