Obfuscation, misdirection, sleight of hand, all covering up the real issue

Everything that has happened in the last few weeks, including the debates, has taken place to take headlines away from the real issue that could, and most likely will, cause John Kerry to lose the election this year.

No, let me re-phrase that: To cause George Bush to stay in power for another term. George Bush cannot possibly win in a fair election. Everyone knows this, even his own side. I conducted an informal poll by asking 10 friends, 7 dem 3 rep, in colleges across the country to ask 10 people they know well (fellow students and faculty only) who they are voting for in the election, if any. This translates into 100 results, 61 for Kerry, 22 for Bush, and 17 undecided/other, and though it is not scientific, it helps further the notion that there is no possible way Bush is doing as well as polls claim he is doing.

Why then, are they polling like they are? Everyone I talk to in my age bracket (18-26) is righteously pissed about George W Bush being in the White House at all at this point. Random people I meet at walmart stop me and remark about my Kerry t-shirt and how much they can't stand Bush ruining the country. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG HERE. The only possible explanation for this is that massive election theft is being planned, and since we know George W Bush believes he has been sent by god himself to do his divine bidding, we know that he doesn't believe the people should have any say in it. He is right, because he has a holy mission.

We as a country are one single step away from the abyss. One step. If Bush steals this election, and lets just admit right now he is going to try, we had better fight, tooth and nail, in a massive show of righteous outrage, that we have not been represented.

If we don't, the United States of America as we know it is finished.
