65. When Kerry mentioned other countries telling him
that they volunteered more help to the U.S. and the U.S. declined their offers why didn't Kerry have a list of the specific countries and the specific offers? If Kerry would have done this it would have finished Rice on this issue. He was a prosecuter....WTF?

By presenting a specific list of countries and offers of help it would have shown Rice to be a liar. It would have shown her to be
inadequate when it comes to qualifications as Secretary of State.

All Kerry had to do was to wait for her to say "I am not aware of any offers of help from other countries...and Kerry could have hit her with a list and she would have been exposed - if nothing else many of us DU'ers would have had a good moment today.

Another disappointing Kerry performance.

P.S. Yes, I realize that Rice still would have been approved, but I would (and somewhat expect) Kerry to have come on more strongly with SPECIFIC statements, charges and comments.

Does anybody in Washington talk directly?
