If he's wired, he's not wired in the sense you think he is. It may go way beyond what any of us can imagine.

What I mean is, there is no way this jackass could pull this off in the sense we're discussing....getting feeds from a remote source and responding with multi-sentence answers shortly afterward. One-word answers, yes, but nothing more. For one thing, his answers are not only bumbling and embarrassing, but they're not even relevant to the questions being asked half the time.

I think he pauses like he does because he's as STUPID as we all know he is. I'm sure that people who are like him, people who have trouble answering questions that are harder than how much is 2 +2, are taught to pause and hesitate for as long as it takes for them to come up with some sort of a response. He's probably pausing for so long in order to decide which of the scripted, pre-memorized answers should be applied to any certain question. There could be someone even telling him over the wire which answer to use ("George, use answer #4 for that question, and don't screw it up you moran!).

Oh, and if he really IS wired with long babbling answers, then it's in such a way that he isn't actually speaking himself. It's someone else with a "stand-in" voice doing the talking and the Chimp is simply moving his lips to the music, where even his lips are computerized and wired to conform correctly to the words that are coming from the remote source.
