5. Pretty damn skanky to ask a Rabbi to **lie**
Ok, so this part is not "illegal" but it shows how skanky Abramoff was...emails that show him asking his RABBI to "finagle" awards for him and asking for titles and made up awards because he felt like he needed them to get acceptance in a club in Washington (Cosmos Club--?) that he describes as a "distinguished club" that has Nobel Prize winners. And then the Rabbi agrees to do it..including fake plaques for Abramoff's office.

One of the fake awards he wanted on his resume: "Distinguished Biblical Scholar Award". Wanting a "few clever titles with dates" and asking that the Rabbi be the one to take the phone call if anyone called to check Abramoff's awards/titles--since they would be FAKE, of course, and the Rabbi would be the one needed to say that they were real....

These guys were throwing hundreds of thousands <and millions> of $$$ around like it's pocket change.....

Love how all their emails talking about alleged illegal activities are sprinkled with religious quotes and undertones.
