44. Just because a tactic is different doesn't mean it's better
Much of the mistaken thrill with Dean's candidacy is his furor. That excites activists, fringe voters and many others throughout the party, but it also turns off others.

It's like Bush's policy of pre-emption: for it to be viable, the speaker has to be unfailingly ACCURATE.

Dean's made mistake after mistake, and he's done so with resounding applomb. The amount of ammunition this man's created for his enemies is inestimable.
