6. Well, the programs Bush laid out sound like

FDR and LBJ style Democratic programs. If Bush actually went through with his plans, and Kennedy embraces him, the right-wingers would lose their minds. The right would forced to oppose the measures, or piss off the base. I for one hopes that he's serious, and actually forces the Repubs to pass these measures, on general principle.
